I'm an intelligent, positive, self-sufficient, discerning, no-nonsense but also a very kind and compassionate woman. I'm outgoing and have a very good sense of humor. I'm also very honest and direct and I earnestly believe in compromise and never live on a one way street. I realize that the world doesn't revolve around me, but at the same time just because it's for sale doesn't mean I have to buy it! have a wide array of interests...too many to list. I grew up boating, sailing and fishing on the Great South Bay of Long Island and can still do all of that. I also love to sing and did so professionally for many years. I definitely don't look or feel like my given age and yes, I AM my photos; some were taken right before my accident and the two of me at my computer were taken in August of '09. No smoke and mirrors here!
Why are so many of us concerned about how much money the other person makes? What happened to artistic wealth? I've had two businesses of my own and have had all the "things" that I wanted but all I did was work and never had time to spare for anyone else. I was happiest when I was wandering like Jack Kerouac. LOL One must remember that the perfect person does not exist. If we keep waiting for them to drop from the sky, we'll find your selves old and alone. Love can make us happy but it takes work. To me, how a person looks isn't as important as who they are. I follow that credo because I realized that I won't find anyone thinking any other way and cut those false ideals long ago. I truly believe that we don't find what we think we want...we find what we need.
